Well, I've never done a blog before and I can't imagine anyone wanting to read the silly things I might have to say but here goes...

There are so many bits of trivia filling up my head and yet I can't help wanting to fill it up with more. Whenever something piques my interest, I start reading up about it. It doesn't have to be some deep, fascinating overwhelming interest... Just "hmmm... I wonder what kind of bug that is." And off I go into the world of bugs until I wonder what kind of flower that is or how big an elephants foot print really is. It's 40-50cm in length and width and has a circumference of about 1.34m just in case you were wondering.

I can tell you all sorts of random things. How a killdeer builds its nest. How to find said nest. How long it takes the chicks to hatch, the life cycle of a rhinocerous beetle, that a turkey vulture's first line of defense is to vomit on its attacker, I can tell you all about chickens and even house chickens. I know about dogs and food coloring and crazy tidbits about other cultures, forensic science, movie trivia, origins of words. All for no particular reason!
